Keyanna T. Binmitende

Keyanna Binmitende is a DEI practitioner and operations leader with nearly a decade of experience driving strategic initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and operational excellence in fast-paced corporate environments. Recognized for her leadership and impact in inclusion work, she has built a reputation for creating people-centered strategies and experiences that foster connection, growth, and meaningful change.

Keyanna leads strategy and execution—overseeing operational planning, stakeholder coordination, logistics, and systems development to ensure every LYLAS experience is intentional, seamless, and impactful. Her expertise in project scoping, planning, and execution allows her to transform vision into action while maintaining an elevated and thoughtful experience for every participant.

Rooted in her passion for inclusion, Keyanna is committed to creating spaces where women—especially Black women navigating corporate environments—feel empowered, supported, and seen. Her work is deeply informed by both her professional journey and personal experiences as a military spouse and mother of three, which have shaped her adaptability, resilience, and commitment to community-building.

Based in Norfolk, Keyanna mentors youth within Norfolk Public Schools, helping students prepare for college and future career success. She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Criminal Justice and Sociology, and an MPA from Rutgers University, and a Google Project Management Professional Certificate.
